Ian Leyden
Originally from Glasgow, Ian moved to Yorkshire in 2010 (still no sign of a Yorkshire accent). After obtaining his degree from the University of Central Lancashire in 2005, he started working in the financial services industry. He worked his way up from an administrator to an adviser and eventually became a business owner, having started Argyll Drummond in 2021.
Ian lives in Reedness, East Yorkshire, with his wife Rachel and their young son, Austin. In his spare time, he is a keen golfer and a member of Fulford Golf Club. When he’s not golfing or spending time with his family, he also enjoys being with his five dogs, Maggie, Maude, Florence, Angus, and Mavis.

Sydney Fox
Sydney is Yorkshire born and bred and currently lives in Rawcliffe, York. She started working in financial services in 2019, initially as an administrator. After a year in that role, she progressed to becoming a fully qualified adviser. She has been advising for three years and has already built a long list of satisfied clients.
When Sydney is not working, she enjoys traveling. Before starting her career, she spent a year abroad, traveling through Australia and Southeast Asia. She is also an avid runner and recently completed the 2023 London Marathon, where she raised over £3,000 for Sarcoma UK, a charity close to her heart. Like Ian, she is also a big animal lover and spends time with her three dogs, Doc, Spud, and Bubba.
